We'd talked about it for quite some time... we'd held the DVD case in our hands but each time we did, I just couldn't commit to watching a movie about learning how to "Master the Art of French Cooking".
Then, on date night, I brought home a surprise movie... and we watched it.
I have to admit, it wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated it would be, and in some strange way, found myself drawn in to the storyline and actually wanting to see how the "silly thing" ended.
I think perhaps the thing that intrigued me most was the blog. I had no idea what it was about and the fact that there was someone else out there blogging about a cook book got me to thinking about my little endeavor "The VideoBlog".
It also reminded me about my little "resolve" for 2010... which I might add, was published BEFORE I watched the movie... about blogging once a week for the year. Sadly, that's already out the window (sorry folks) but the movie brought a sort of challenge to my mind...
If some girl could blog DAILY about cooking how in the world couldn't I blog daily?
I thought it might be possible, or more realistic, if I still had my desk job at GCAG, but those days gone and now, since I'm not at a computer everyday, it might be a little more challenge; but to Julie's point... could help develop some discipline.
I do love to write...
Let's see where this goes...
